Q. How do I place
my order for gear at the store?
A. You can place your
order two ways: by fax or online.
Both will accomplish the same thing, but we know some people like computers
while others don't. The paper form should be completed and faxed to 303.442.7425
or mailed to our office in Colorado.
Q. Can I call in my order?
A. You can call Jenny Stein at 303.444.9779 during business hours, but please have your order ready to go at that point. We would appreciate your doing your shopping research before you call, since it helps the process move along more efficiently. Of course, if you have questions for us, we're happy to help you make a decision.
Q. How do I pay for my order?
A. We accept Mastercard, VISA, personal checks, money orders and cashier's checks payable to BOSS. While we will review your order and check our inventory before payment is received, we cannot guarantee your items being in stock until the payment is processed. Therefore, orders placed by credit card are quicker to process.
Q. How far in advance of my course can I order?
A. As
long as you order more than 15 days ahead of your course, we do our best to
get everything you requested. If we see any problems with our inventory, we'll
give you a call so you have a chance to buy those items elsewhere, if necessary.
You can order in fewer than 15 days, too, but during our busy season it is
possible for several courses to go into the store and buy out our inventory.
Again, we recommend you place your order in advance, then make changes once
you're with us in Utah.
Q. What if I want to change my order?
A. The best thing to do is contact us and see what the status of your order is. We'll do our best to make all the necessary changes, adjust the payment, and correct the order waiting for you in Utah. You can also look at things in our store and decide, but we don't guarantee having all sizes and colors available at all times.
Q. Can I add items to my order in Utah once I'm in the store?
A. Absolutely. We have a large selection of other trail-worthy items. However, since your initial order has already been charged to your card, we will need another payment for items you select in Utah.
Q. Suppose I need to cancel my order... ?
A. We will return the items to our inventory and credit your card (or issue a refund check) for the amount you paid. While our course cancellation policy has a penalty system, gear orders are different – you'll get all of your money back if you cancel your order.
Q. Do I need to have my credit card with me in the store? I think you have it on file.
A. As long as we have your credit card number on file in Colorado, it's not necessary to bring it to Utah. Please check with Jenny, however, before you assume that we have it.
Q. Can I have my order shipped to me in advance?
A. Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to do this anymore. The post-office in Utah is very small, and only open for a few hours each morning. But if there is a special circumstance that requires us to mail something to you, please discuss it with Jenny when you place your order.
